I've been working with him for just under a year. I was always very self conscious about going to the gym but he is very personable and approachable with a wealth of health and fitness knowledge.
At our first meeting he really listened to what I wanted to gain from my training and guided me in making realistic goals to aim for, along with making changes to lifestyle choices to help me get there. He's also helped me rehabilitate following injuries.

I've been working with Jamie for a couple of years and have enjoyed the 1-2-1 personal training. I was initially anxious about joining the gym, in fear that it would be like the usual stereotype. Thrive is not your typical gym. Jamie is extremely attentive and cerebral in his approach to personal training, where the training is truly personal. Exercises are taken at a comfortable pace with no pressure or judgement if things don't feel right for you and Jamie seems to always find a way to adapt to your needs. If you want to focus on other lifestyle factors, Jamie is always happy to discuss these in a considerate way. I would not hesitate to recommend Jamie to anyone.
